Privacy Policy
Ross, Lynn, and Associates, LLC
Last Updated / Effective Date: October 3, 2026
1. Who We Are
This Privacy Policy explains how Ross, Lynn, and Associates, LLC ("RLA," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit rosslynnandassociates.com (the "Website"), contact us by phone, text, or email, or use our services (together, the "Services").
RLA is a private, non-court-appointed dispute resolution firm. RLA prepares pro se discrepancy dossiers for timeshare owners and, at the owner's request, facilitates direct resolution discussions with the resort. When RLA has prepared an owner's dossier, RLA participates as the owner's resolution facilitator, not as a neutral mediator. RLA is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
Our Services are offered as the following options, which you select in your written agreement with RLA:
-
Pro se discrepancy dossier. We help you organize your own dossier, which identifies significant contradictions between the verbal sales statements you report and your written timeshare records. The statements in your dossier are your own, written and approved by you. You then contact your resort directly.
-
Dossier plus client-side resolution facilitation. In addition to the dossier, RLA participates as your resolution facilitator in a discussion with your resort, developer, lender, or management company, only at your request, with your written consent, and only if the other party agrees to take part.
-
Attorney directory (free informational resource). RLA maintains a passive, non-commissioned directory of independent, licensed attorneys. If you choose to hire an attorney, you contract with and pay that attorney directly. RLA receives no referral fees, fee-sharing, or other compensation from any attorney or law practice.
Outside of a resolution discussion you have authorized, RLA does not contact, communicate with, or negotiate with any timeshare resort, developer, lender, or management company, and RLA never requests or obtains records from them.
An attorney-client relationship exists only between you and the attorney you choose to retain. It never exists between you and RLA.
Important: Because RLA is not a law firm, your communications with RLA are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Services. It does not cover the practices of companies we do not own or control, including the independent attorneys in our directory, timeshare resorts, developers, lenders, or management companies. Each of them has its own privacy practices.
3. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide to Us
-
Contact and inquiry information: your full name, phone number (including mobile number), email address, mailing address, the name of your timeshare or resort, and the reasons you want to exit your timeshare.
-
Communications: the content of your calls, voicemails, text messages, emails, and other messages with us.
-
Timeshare purchase records: purchase agreements, contracts, deeds, points or membership statements, maintenance fee statements, loan statements, sales presentation materials, and related correspondence that you provide to us for your dossier.
-
Your intake questionnaire: your own written account of what you were told when you purchased your timeshare, which you sign and approve.
-
General financial hardship information (optional): general circumstances you choose to share, such as loss of employment, loss of business, divorce, death of a spouse, caregiving responsibilities, or difficulty paying loan or maintenance fees.
-
Payment information: Payments for our Services are made through a third-party payment processor, which collects your payment card or bank account details directly. RLA does not receive or store full payment card numbers, card security codes, or full bank account numbers. We receive only limited transaction details, such as your name, payment amount, date, and the last four digits of your card or account.
B. What We Do Not Collect
-
Health and medical information. We do not request or collect health conditions, diagnoses, doctor's notes, medical records, or other health information. If a medical hardship applies to you, please share it directly with your attorney. If you mention health information to us, we do not add it to your file or dossier. If you send us medical records, we will delete or return them. Call recordings, including any incidental mention of health information, are deleted on the schedule described in Section 9.
-
Social Security numbers and sensitive financial records. We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, bank statements, credit reports, tax returns, or income documentation. If an attorney needs this information, you provide it directly to the attorney.
-
Records from third parties. All timeshare records we review are provided directly by you. We do not request or obtain records from any resort, developer, lender, or management company.
-
Purchased or third-party leads. We do not purchase, rent, or receive lists of consumer contact information from any third party. We receive your contact information only when you contact us.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help RLA deliver messages.
8.6 Records. We keep consent and opt-out records for 5 years after the last call or text.
8.7 Carriers. Mobile carriers are not responsible for messages that are delayed or not delivered.

Communication consent and opt-out records: 5 years from our last call or text message to you, for both inquiries and clients.
-
Call recordings: up to 90 days from the date of the call, unless a recording documents your consent or opt-out, in which case it is kept for the period in item 3.
When the retention period ends, we securely delete or de-identify the information, unless the law requires us to keep it longer or it is subject to a legal hold.

-
Encrypted transmission of data on our Website (SSL/TLS)
